Closing Cost Assistance Loan Program
The Closing Cost Assistance Loan Program provides homebuyers purchasing in the City of Buffalo with a $3,000 Closing Cost Assistance Loan. The Program is designed to provide homebuyers with funds for closing costs associated with purchasing a home. The loan term is 5 years with a 3% interest rate; monthly payments are $53.91.
The Loan Program is sponsored by Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) of South Buffalo and HomeFront, Inc. - The HomeOwnership Center.
Qualifications
- Homebuyers must be purchasing a home in the City of Buffalo
- Homebuyers must be purchasing a home for the first-time
- Household Income Eligibility is as follows:
- 1 Person Household: $38,340
- 2 Person Household: $43,830
- 3 Person Household: $49,320
- 4 Person Household: $54,810
- 5 Person Household: $59,220
- Homebuyers must attend an 8-Hour Homebuyer Education Course
- Other restrictions/ qualifications may apply.
